Honor's Magic 8 series will officially launch in China in a few days time. While the brand has been somewhat tight-lipped about the phones, leaks have consistently outed their details. The latest one arrives is the form of the Honor Magic 8 Pro's key details.
Tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) has shared via Weibo that the upcoming Honor Magic 8 Pro will feature a massive 7,200mAh battery. It will allegedly get paired with 120W fast USB-C charging. If true, this will provide a huge jump over the Honor Magic 7 Pro that managed to pack only a 5,850mAh cell inside.

Moreover, it will even top it off with a 200 MP periscope telephoto camera unit with 85mm shooting distance. The periscope lens will apparently get paired with a 50 MP main camera and a 50 MP ultra-wide angle lens.
Additionally, DCS claims that the front of the phone will sport a 6.71-inch 1.5K 120 Hz quad curved AMOLED display with an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner underneath. Apart from this, no other detail for the phone has been outed by DCS.

Honor Magic 8 Pro will focus on being an AI-first phone
While Honor has not confirmed much regarding the smartphone, it has earlier revealed that the smartphone will become an "AI self-evolving" phone. It will include a new physical AI trigger key, which will use the brand's MagicGUI multimodal AI to unlock on-device AI capabilities.
Other than that, the Magic 8 Pro will launch with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and will go on sale in the Rising Sun Golden Sands, Azure Blue, Snowy White and Velvet Black colourways.
That said, the Honor Magic 8 launch in China has been set for October 15, 2025. It will bring the Magic 8 Pro and the standard Magic 8 as well. So, stay tuned for the official details of both phones and take the current details with a grain of salt.
