Honor's popularity in China rises from the fact that it releases good value-for-money phones at competitive price points. The brand's "X" series has been doing exactly that for years, and as the smartphone battery wars heat up, it looks like the upcoming Honor X80 Pro Max could feature a mammoth capacity.
Honor X80 Pro Max Design and Key Specs Leaked
A new report from Huawei Central has shared the first hands-on live images of the upcoming Honor X80 Pro Max. The phone has been revealed to feature what looks like a smooth leather back with a dual-tone finish.

As it is evident from the above image, the back of the X80 Pro Max has a top cream-coloured part and a bottom orange section. The "Honor" logo sits in the bottom half in what appears to be a golden inlay finish. It also retains the signature circular camera deco which has become an identity for the "Honor X" series and also features thin and symmetrical bezels at the front. The frame has a glossy look to it.
Also, one of the images gives us a glimpse at the About Phone section of the X80 Pro Max, revealing its key details. As per that, the phone will feature an OLED display with a 2788 x 1280 pixel resolution, run on the newly launched Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chipset and ship with a massive 11,000mAh battery.
This falls in line with a recent Honor X80 Pro Max battery leak report, which also mentioned the same capacity for the phone along with the other details. Hence, going by that, we can also expect the smartphone to bring an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers and an IP69 rating.
That said, since Honor has not officially started teasing any of the details yet, take this leak with a pinch of salt. Moreover, Honor is also prepping the Honor X80 and Honor X80 Pro for launch. All three phones could arrive in China by Q3 2026. So, stay tuned.
