Huawei has officially launched the Watch GT 7 and Watch GT 7 Pro in global markets, with a focus on outdoor activities, health tracking and long battery life. The new watches feature AMOLED displays with up to 3,000 nits of peak brightness and can last for up to 21 days on a single charge, depending on the model and usage.
Huawei Watch GT 7 and GT 7 Pro Specifications and Features
The Watch GT 7 is available in 41mm and 46mm sizes, while the GT 7 Pro comes in a 46mm variant. Both models feature a 466 x 466-pixel AMOLED display, 5 ATM water resistance and IP69 protection.
The 46mm Watch GT 7 can deliver up to 21 days of battery life with light use, 12 days with typical use and up to 51 hours in trail running mode. The 41mm model is rated for up to 14 days with light use and seven days with typical use.

The GT 7 Pro also offers up to 21 days of battery life with light use and 12 days with typical use. It features a nano-tech ceramic bezel, an aerospace-grade titanium alloy case and a sapphire glass display. Huawei says the Pro model can also support diving depths of up to 40 metres.
Outdoor sports are a major focus of the new series. The watches support tracking for activities including skiing, snowboarding, cycling, running and racket sports. Huawei's Sunflower Positioning System uses the AI-XDR algorithm for route tracking, while snow sports tracking can record metrics such as maximum speed, average incline, total descent and number of runs.

For cyclists, the watches can display route and elevation information and provide alerts for upcoming climbs and sharp turns. Runners get offline maps and metrics including ground contact time balance, vertical oscillation and running power.
The watches also support more than 110 professional workout modes. Huawei has added PickleX mode for racket sports, which can track metrics such as racket swings, forehand and backhand shots and rally length.

The Watch GT 7 series offers health monitoring features including heart rate tracking, HRV monitoring, sleep analysis and Pulse Wave Arrhythmia Analysis. The watches can also track women's health and provide Emotional Wellbeing features.
Huawei's Health Community feature allows users to view selected health information from connected loved ones. Meanwhile, the company's Diabetes Risk Study uses several days of vital-sign tracking to provide a risk assessment.
Both models support hands-free calling and voice notes and are compatible with Android and iOS devices.
The Watch GT 7 Pro gets several additional features for golfers, trail runners and divers. Its golf mode supports play-like distance, flagstick positioning, green-view rotation, scorecards and shot-trajectory replay. Huawei says its database covers more than 17,000 golf courses.

The Pro model also adds ECG analysis and Huawei's Coronary Heart Disease Study, which uses several days of day-and-night wear to provide a personalised cardiovascular risk assessment.
For freediving, the GT 7 Pro supports apnea tests and dives to depths of up to 40 metres, along with features such as a hover timer and water-type identification.
