Ahead of its expected launch this month, iQOO has confirmed several features for its upcoming iQOO 15. The firm has revealed that the device will support wireless charging, alongside upgrades to its durability and biometrics.

iQOO 15 will boast top-tier water and dust resistance and an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner

iQOO's official Weibo account has been on a spree lately, revealing key information about the upcoming iQOO 15. In its recent posts, the firm revealed that the phone will feature wireless charging. The brand has also confirmed that the iQOO 15 is IP68/69, the best protection there is on offer right now against water and dust.

iQOO usually launches its devices in India and Europe, but the iQOO 15 recently appeared on SIRIM, a Malaysian certification website. This suggests that the device could launch in Malaysia, although iQOO Malaysia has yet to confirm the device's arrival in the country.

As for the other rumoured specifications, the iQOO 15 will boast a Samsung 2K display with 144Hz refresh rate, a 7,000mAh battery with 100W charging and a 50 MP triple camera setup including a periscope telephoto camera.

The device is expected to follow the same dual-chip strategy as its predecessors, with an improved Q3 gaming chip alongside the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. Besides, the iQOO 15 is expected to arrive with all the Origin OS 6 features and this version will be based on Android 16.

iQOO has also teased the device's arrival in India, although we don't have the exact launch date yet. To reiterate, the iQOO 15 will launch in China in October 2025, so the India launch could happen before the end of 2025.

The device won't be the first Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5-powered smartphone in India, though, as the Realme GT 8 Pro could be the first to do that. Either way, stay tuned as we will closely follow any new iQOO 15 specifications that drop as we inch closer to launch.
