iQOO has officially started teasing its upcoming flagship, the iQOO 15. The smartphone is shaping up to be an interesting package with all the signature iQOO bells and whistles. Now, the brand has officially revealed some of the key details regarding the smartphone's display and gaming prowess.
iQOO 15 to debut with a new Samsung OLED display
The official Weibo handle of iQOO has revealed that iQOO 15 will become the first smartphone to feature the M14 ultra-luminous 2K Everest OLED panel from Samsung. It is also going to be a LEAD (non-polarized OLED) display which will allow the smartphone to achieve higher brightness value, better transparency and a wider colour gamut.

This technology promises a 40% improvement in luminous efficiency and a 44% reduction in power consumption. The panel will further support up to 144 Hz variable refresh rate and up to 6,000 nits of peak brightness. It will even be able to go as dim as 1 nit of brightness.
Alongside an advanced display panel, the iQOO 15 will also be equipped with the in-house Q3 gaming chip, which is said to bring QNSS support with stable frame rates of 144 Hz with 2K resolution in games like Genshen Impact, Call of Duty, PUBG, Fortnite Mobile and more.

Apart from this, the official post has also mentioned the existence of a periscope camera, wireless charging and a brand new haptic motor.
iQOO 15 expected specifications
While that's all the brand has given away for now, leaks and reports also add that this could be a 6.85-inch anti-glare display. There's also said to be an upgraded 50 MP periscope telephoto camera, coupled with a 50 MP primary and 50 MP ultrawide cameras.

Under the hood, the upcoming flagship is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and offer 12 GB of RAM. As for the iQOO 15 battery, users can expect a 7,000mAh unit with 100W fast charging. Meanwhile, on the software front, the iQOO 15 is expected to launch with Android 16-based OriginOS 6 in China.
OriginOS 6 release date has been set for October 10, 2025, while the device itself is expected to launch on October 20, 2025, in China. It's already up for pre-reservation in China.
