MediaTek's Dimensity 7000 series chipsets compete directly with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7 Gen lineup, bringing commendable performance and features to mid-range and premium mid-range smartphones. Joining the list today is the all-new Dimensity 7500 processor, which primarily focuses on AI, with a boost in performance, camera, display and connectivity.
MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Specifications and Features
The Dimensity 7500 is based on a power-efficient 4nm fabrication process and combine big-core CPU design, a modern GPU, a new-gen NPU and an advanced 5G modem. It also brings features like high refresh rate display support, faster memory lanes and improved gaming and wireless standards.
On paper, the new processor is very similar to the Dimensity 7400 chipset, with just slightly better AI performance. Here's a quick rundown of its key specifications:

Beyond the specs, the Dimensity 7500 is designed to deliver reliable real-world performance across everyday tasks, gaming and media consumption. AI has also taken a big leap with the NPU 850, bringing better on-device AI features like speech recognition, contextual replies, notification summaries, speech-to-text and text-to-speech processing.
Another key improvement is on the display side where phones with the new SoC can not only bring Full HD+ and HDR playback support, but also unlock 144 Hz native refresh rate support. This also directly translates to gaming with phones now being able to reach 144 FPS gaming thanks to MediaTek HyperEngine technology and Adaptive Gaming Technology 4.0.
Connectivity remains a key focus as well, with the integrated Release-17 5G modem delivering faster speeds and better efficiency, while on the imaging front, support for up to 200 MP Imagic 1050 cameras and HDR processing enables advanced photography inside mid-range phones.
