We are still a few months away from the unveiling of MediaTek's Dimensity 9500 SoC. But, the rumour mill is abuzz with leaks and information. While we recently got a fairly good idea of the performance gains of the upcoming mobile chipset, a new report has given us a glimpse of the CPU and GPU details on the Dimensity 9500 SoC.
Thanks to credible leaker Digital Chat Station, we now know that although the Dimensity 9500 will be an octa-core SoC, it will feature an all-new CPU architecture. This has been revealed via the latest Geekbench 6 OpenCL benchmark listing. And subsequently was shared on Weibo by the leaker.

It is important to note that the device used for testing runs on Android 16 and has 16 GB of RAM. As it is evident from the above image, the Dimensity 9500 SoC will be based on TSMC's third-generation 3nm node and will come with an 8-core CPU architecture. It will comprise 1x Cortex-X930 prime Travis core clocked at 3.23 GHz, 3x Alto cores clocked at 3.03 GHz, and 4x Gelas cores clocked at 2.23 GHz.
This is in line with what Digital Chat Station revealed last week while sharing the Geekbench 6 single and multi-core scores for the Dimensity 9500 SoC. And as mentioned earlier, it will feature the Immortalis-Drage GPU, which is a new Mali-G1-Ultra MC12 GPU. This new micro-architecture module is expected to up the Ray Tracing game of the SoC while reducing the overall power consumption.
Lastly, the Dimensity 9500 SoC is expected to launch with 16 MB of L3 cache,10 MB of system-level cache, and up to 100TOPS NPU 9.0 computing power. And the devices sporting this chipset will be able to launch with 4-channel LPDDR5x RAM and a 4-lane interface USB 4.1 storage.
With that being said, nothing is confirmed as yet. The leaker has also said that these are part of the SoC's sampling frequency and might see tweaks in the final model. So, take this recent development with a grain of salt and keep an eye out more updates about the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 on Beebom Gadgets.
