Back in October, OnePlus announced the launch of OxygenOS 16. The OnePlus 15 became the first smartphone to ship with the latest OS skin. Now, the Android 16 update is also hitting the 2023 icon – OnePlus 11.
OnePlus 11 owners finally get Android 16-based OxygenOS 16
OnePlus made a community post announcing the rollout of the stable OxygenOS 16 update to the 2023 flagship phone, the OnePlus 11. The Android 16 update is marked as CPH2447_16.0.1.300(EX01) and it takes the security version to December 2025. Now, it is important to note that there might be a slight tweak in the software update version depending on the region.

With the new update, OnePlus has ensured a complete makeover, and as part of the update, all the new OxygenOS 16 features are now live for OnePlus 11 owners. For instance, the brand new Flux Themes 2.0 is now live for the phone with AI wallpapers, dynamic moving photos, depth effects, translucent clock styles and more.
The new Fluid Cloud update with app integration like YouTube Music is also shipping to the OnePlus 11. It uses Android 16's Live Updates API for real-time tracking. Moreover, there are several new AI features with the new update. From AI tools like AI Writer and AI Translate to deeper Gemini integration in Mind Space, the stable OxygenOS 16 update treats the OnePlus 11 with tons of AI features.

Moreover, OnePlus 11 will also now support Parallel Processing 2.0 for buttery smooth animations and a continuous flow between apps, the homescreen, the lockscreen and other visual elements throughout the UI. There are also new OnePlus Connect features, which will help the OnePlus 11 connect seamlessly with Apple products like Macs for remote desktop access, wireless file sharing and more.
That said, users can check for the new update and download the same by heading over to Settings > System & update > Software update. In case the update is not live yet, make sure to also click on the three-dot icon at the top to check for a Release Candidate update. The community post has mentioned that the stable rollout will be gradual to OxygenOS 16 supported devices. So, it should land on your OnePlus 11 in the coming days.
