OnePlus 13 and 13s get the first taste of Android 16
OnePlus has officially started the rollout of Android 16-based OxygenOS 16 to the OnePlus 13 and the OnePlus 13s. Both phones were previously running OxygenOS 15 based on Android 15. With the latest update, both the 13 and the 13s now carry the CPH2649_16.0.0.210(EX01) and the CPH2723_16.0.0.211 (EX01) update versions, respectively.

So, make sure to update your smartphone to the latest version of Android and OxygenOS right away. However, do note that the rollout has been initiated in a phased manner. So, in case the update is not live yet for some users, rest assured that it will hit both models in the next few days. To check, simply head over to the Setting menu and from there go to System & Update > Software Update section.
As for what the new update brings, OxygenOS has received a facelift with a redesigned user interface and Flux Themes 2.0. There are now AI wallpapers, dynamic moving photos, depth effects, translucent clock styles, new iconography and more.

The overall fluidity of the OS and animations have also been improved with the new Parallel Processing 2.0 update. There are several Android 16 features present with the new update as well like Secure Power-Off, Privacy Dashboard and more.
Aside from that, there are also cool new AI-based OxygenOS 16 features like AI Writing, AI Scan, Gemini and Plus Mind integration, personalised updates and more. Lastly, there are better O+ Connect ecosystem features like remote desktop access, wireless file sharing and app mirroring.
That said, apart from the OnePlus 13 and 13s, the upcoming OnePlus 15 will become the first phone to ship with the latest OS skin out of the box.
