The OnePlus Nord 6 has become the latest victim of the ongoing RAM crisis in India. Just over a month after its launch, the supposedly mid-range OnePlus phone has received a price hike of up to Rs 5,000, which is quite crazy. The top variant of the OnePlus Nord 6 is well past the Rs 45,000 mark and the base model has crossed the Rs 40,000 mark.
OnePlus Nord 6 Price Now Starts at Rs 41,999
The OnePlus Nord 6 launched in India last month at Rs 38,999 for the 8 GB + 256 GB variant and Rs 41,999 for the 12 GB + 256 GB option. Now, with the latest price hike, the base variant costs Rs 41,999 (a Rs 3,000 jump) while the top variant has been bumped up to Rs 46,999 (a Rs 5,000 price hike).
The newly hiked OnePlus Nord 6 prices are already live on Amazon India and the official OnePlus India store, without any formal announcement from the brand.
| Variant | Launch Price | New Price | Hike |
|---|---|---|---|
| 8 GB + 256 GB | Rs 38,999 | Rs 41,999 | Rs 3,000 |
| 12 GB + 256 GB | Rs 41,999 | Rs 46,999 | Rs 5,000 |
To be frank, this was only a matter of time. Earlier this month, OnePlus 15 and 15R prices were hiked by up to Rs 6,000 and the OnePlus 15R is already on its second price hike, which makes it Rs 7,000 costlier since launch. Now, with the Nord 6 price hike, the entire OnePlus lineup in India is significantly pricier than at launch.

The root cause is soaring memory and NAND prices, all thanks to booming AI data centre demand, which is forcing almost every brand to revise pricing silently. Counterpoint Research had already warned that smartphone prices would keep climbing through 2026 and called this the end of value-for-money Android. Samsung, Oppo, Realme, Vivo, iQOO and Nothing have all done similar price hikes in recent months.
Note that OnePlus is still offering a discount of up to Rs 2,000 via select credit cards on EMI transactions. That brings the effective price of the base variant down to Rs 39,999, which is still Rs 1,000 costlier than the original launch price.
