Oppo Find X9 Velvet Red Edition India Launch Confirmed for next Week

Just ten days ago, Oppo made the Find X9 series official in India. It brought the standard Find X9 in the Titanium Grey and Space Black colourways. However, the new Light-Chasing Red colourway didn't make its way to the country. Now, that is set to change with an official Find X9 Velvet Red Edition launch confirmation from Oppo.

Oppo Find X9 Velvet Red Edition is on its way to India

The official X handle of Oppo India confirmed that the much-awaited Light-Chasing Red colourway of the Find X9 will launch in India on December 8, 2025. It will be called the Velvet Red edition in the country. For context, this was first made official with the Find X9 series China launch and remained exclusive to the region until now.

Just like the other two colour options, the Velvet Red edition brings a matte Wine Purple hue to the Find X9. It coats the smartphone evenly, right from the camera deco to the mid-frame. Here as well, Oppo is using cold sculpting technology for a seamless transition between the back glass and the camera deco. Even the back glass on the Velvet Red model is sandblasted for a continuous, polished and interruption-free experience. The official Oppo China page calls this Silky Sheen.
