The Oppo K14 Plus 5G has launched in India as the fourth member of the "Oppo K14" family. The smartphone joins the Oppo K14, K14x and K14 Lite, bringing a massive battery capacity, a better-tuned Dimensity chip and a smooth AMOLED display.
Oppo K14 Plus 5G Specifications and Features
The newly launched Oppo K14 Plus 5G features a 6.7-inch 10-bit AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution, a 144 Hz refresh rate, and 3,600 nits of peak brightness. The panel is also rated for 100% DCI-P3 and offers a 2,160 Hz PWM Dimming frequency.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the Dimensity 7360 Max chipset, a slightly better-tuned variant of the standard Dimensity 7300. The processor is paired with up to 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
The phone also gets a 3,900 mm² vapour chamber for efficient thermal management. Oppo K14 Plus 5G ships with ColorOS 16 based on Android 16 out of the box and will be one of the first few Oppo phones to receive the ColorOS 17 update when it arrives in India.
In terms of cameras, the smartphone features a 50 MP Smartsense SC532HS main rear camera and a 2 MP GC02M1B monochrome sensor. Selfies are handled by a 16 MP Sony IMX480 camera.
Battery-wise, the Oppo K14 Plus 5G ships with a massive 8,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support.
As for the rest, the smartphone gets IP66 + IP68 + IP69 + IP69K ratings, an in-display fingerprint scanner, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, dual-SIM 5G, GPS and a USB-C 2.0 port.

Overall, Oppo's latest budget phone certainly does seem like one of the best phones under Rs 30,000. However, it will face tough competition from phones like the Poco X8 and the Realme P4.
