Summary

  • Oppo Reno 15 Pro Mini will launch alongside the Reno 15 and Reno 15 Pro in India.
  • Reno 15 Pro Mini will launch as a rebranded Reno 15, while the Reno 15 will be a rebranded Reno 15c.
  • Oppo Reno 15 Pro Mini specs include a 6.32-inch 120 Hz AMOLED display and 7.99mm thickness.

Thanks to the Oppo India team, they're decluttering the Reno 15 lineup in India as compared to the Chinese market. Ahead of the launch, Oppo has confirmed that the Indian market will receive three Reno 15 phones namely, the Reno 15, Reno 15 Pro and a more compact Reno 15 Pro Mini.

Oppo Reno 15 Pro Mini India launch confirmed

In a press release sent to us, Oppo has confirmed that the Reno 15 Pro Mini will launch in India as the brand's first "Pro Mini" compact smartphone. However, the India lineup actually makes a bit more sense than how the Oppo Reno 15 series launched in China. Allow me to make things simpler for you:

  • In China, the Oppo Reno 15 and Reno 15 Pro launched together and the Reno 15C debuted a week later.
  • However, in India, the Reno 15C is being rebranded as the Reno 15 and the regular Reno 15 is becoming the Reno 15 Pro Mini instead.
  • So, in India, the Reno 15 (rebranded Reno 15c), Reno 15 Pro and Reno 15 Pro Mini (rebranded Reno 15) will launch together.

With that simplified and out of the way, let's take a quick look at the Reno 15 series specifications that Oppo has confirmed alongside the announcement.

Oppo Reno 15 Pro Mini specifications

For starters, all three phones will be powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 8450 chipset. Apart from that, the upcoming compact phone will arrive with a thickness of 7.99mm and weigh 187 grams.

Meanwhile, just like the other two Reno 15 phones, the Pro Mini will also flaunt an Aerospace-Grade Aluminium Frame with Sponge Bionic Cushioning and HoloFusion Technology design at the back panel. The phone will also flaunt One-piece Sculpted Glass to give it a very unified in-hand feel.

At the front, the Oppo Reno 15 Pro Mini will pack a 6.32-inch 120 Hz AMOLED display with 600 nits of HBM and a peak brightness of 3,600 nits. This panel will also be protected by Gorilla Glass 7i and AGC DT-STAR D+ certification. The compact phone will also sport the IP66, IP68 and IP69 ratings.

While the exact Oppo Reno 15 series India launch date hasn't been specified, we expect the phones to go official sometime in January 2026. Since the brand has already started teasing the Reno 15 series India launch in detail, expect to get a concrete launch date soon.
