Oppo is all set to introduce its next Reno series phones, Reno 16 and Reno 16 Pro in China. While both devices are launching next week, a new report has now revealed when they are expected to arrive in India. It looks like Oppo will launch four Reno 16 series phones in India, just like the Reno 15 lineup.
Reno 16 Series India Launch Tipped for July 2026 with Four New Phones
An exclusive report shared by tech publication 91mobiles has revealed that Oppo is gearing to launch the Reno 16 series in India in the month of July 2026. However, unlike in China, where only the Oppo Reno 16 and Reno 16 Pro will launch, the brand will bring four Reno 16 series phones to India.
The lineup is said to include the standard Reno 16 and the Reno 16 Pro, as well as the more affordable Reno 16C and the compact Reno 16 Pro Mini. This will likely follow the same launch strategy as that of the Reno 15 lineup where both the Reno 15C and Reno 15 Pro Mini accompanied the Reno 15 and Reno 15 Pro.
While there is no confirmation on this front yet, we do know that the Reno 16 series China launch is set for May 25, 2026. It is confirmed to bring the Reno 16 and Reno 16 Pro and a recent Reno 16 series spec leak report has outed their details ahead of any official confirmation.
For starters, the standard Reno 16, is expected to bring a small 6.3-inch 1.5K 120 Hz AMOLED display, along with the Dimensity 8500 chipset, a 6,700mAh battery and 50 MP main cameras.
As for the Reno 16 Pro, it is reportedly getting a 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED display, the new Dimensity 9500s chipset, up to 16 GB RAM and 1 TB storage, a 7,000mAh battery and a 200 MP main camera.
That said, with the China launch next week, we will know more about the two smartphones. As for their Indian models, we will have to wait for Oppo to confirm all four phones ahead of launch. So, expect to hear more details in the coming weeks.
