Fresh off the Oura Ring 4 launch in India, new information about its successor has surfaced, giving us an early look at Oura's next-generation health tracker. The leaked renders showcase the key design tweaks and fresh colour options alongside potentially better health tracking.
Oura Ring 5 could be scratch-resistant
Revealed first by Android Headlines, the Oura Ring 5 could maintain a similar form factor, but with ergonomic tweaks. The outer edge of the ring features a more pronounced curve compared to the Ring 4. This makes it look more like a traditional piece of jewellery and solves a common complaint.

Besides, the leaked renders suggest Oura will add a new colour option to the mix. The brand could retire its Rose Gold option for a Deep Rose finish, which appears much closer to a warm, bronze-rose finish rather than standard gold.
The lineup will also feature a sleek matte black option, which will likely be branded as "Stealth". The usual colours, Silver and Gold, will remain, with Silver being available in both Glossy and Brushed variants.
As for the battery, charging and sensors, they're expected to remain unchanged. This means the same five to eight days of battery life on a single charge. The charger and the travel-friendly case also retain the same design.
However, Oura is expected to bring internal upgrades to improve health tracking accuracy. While we don't know what these upgrades could bring, there's still a long way to go before the Ring 5 is officially unveiled, so stay tuned. Since Oura sticks to a three to four-year product cycle, the Oura Ring 5 could arrive in 2027.
