Qualcomm unveiled the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 and the higher-tier Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 at Snapdragon Summit 2026 just hours ago. Following the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 launch, benchmark results from a Qualcomm reference device have now surfaced, covering four separate tests.
Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 Breaches 5 Million AnTuTu Mark
Tipster Fixed Focus Digital took to Weibo to share the benchmark numbers for the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset. As per that, the chipset manages to achieve 5,658,231 points in AnTuTu (or 5.6 million). This breaks down as 1,504,638 points in CPU, 2,031,677 points in GPU, 988,016 points in memory and 1,133,900 points in UX parameters.
However, do note that this has been achieved on a reference device in a controlled environment. The listed phone bears the "QUALCOMM Art for arm64" model number and also carries a "this device may be rooted" warning.
This is slightly lower than the OnePlus 16 AnTuTu score with the same chipset, although that could be slightly closer to reality than this.

Moving on, we also get to see the Geekbench 6 vs Geekbench 7 scores for the reference device running the 2nm flagship platform. The same SoC has scored 4,332 on Geekbench 6 and 3,636 on Geekbench 7, a difference of nearly 700 points in single-core performance on identical hardware.
However, this doesn't indicate performance loss or a dip in efficacy. With Geekbench 7, Primate Labs has reset the performance baseline entirely, switching the reference processor from the Intel Core i7-12700 to the AMD Ryzen 7 7700.
This means that Geekbench 6 and Geekbench 7 scores cannot be compared with one another. We see the same difference in multi-core performance, where the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 has achieved 13,048 points in Geekbench 6 and 12,349 points in Geekbench 7, showing a 699-point gap.
That said, it is important to remember that these are reference platform figures and real-world scores and performance will depend on how each brand handles cooling and power management.
The Xiaomi 18 Pro Max and Motorola Signature 27 will be the first phones to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6. Meanwhile, the Xiaomi 18 Pro will be the first phone to go official with the toned-down Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chipset.
