Realme GT 8 Pro Launch Date in India Confirmed

After making the Realme GT 8 series official in China a few weeks back, Realme confirmed that both phones will launch in India this month. Now, the brand has revealed the exact date of unveiling and it is not too far away.

Realme GT 8 series will go official in India in two weeks

The official Realme GT 8 Pro microsite is now live on the Realme India website and Flipkart, confirming the November 20, 2025, launch date for the smartphone. Realme will also introduce the standard Realme GT 8 in the country on the same day.

Interestingly, the claim that the Realme GT 8 Pro will become India's first Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 phone, made officially by Francis Wong, now stands refuted. With the OnePlus 15 India launch event set for November 13, 2025, the Realme GT 8 series could become the second set of smartphones to launch with the latest Qualcomm processor.

Aside from the launch date announcement, Realme has also confirmed two of the colourways for the smartphone – Dairy White and Urban Blue. While the former will feature a frosted glass back, the latter is said to mimic the texture of paper. However, looks like the green colour option, which the Realme GT 8 series China launch included, is not heading to India.

Thankfully, the interchangeable camera deco design will make its way to the country. Both the GT 8 and the GT 8 Pro will offer this modularity, aside from the obvious Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 upgrade. They will also become the first Realme UI 7.0 smartphones in the country, based on Android 16.

Aside from that, both phones will feature a 7,000mAh battery, 6.79-inch 1.5K 144 Hz 10-bit AMOLED display, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0 and more. The GT 8 Pro will stand out with its 200 MP periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and up to 120x digital zoom.

That said, this year's GT lineup is set to bring some serious upgrades for the fans. We expect Realme to competitively price the GT 8 series in India to compete with the likes of OnePlus, iQOO, Oppo and Vivo. Thankfully, we won't have to wait for long to find out.
