The Redmi Note 17 series launch date in China was recently confirmed and the brand revealed the lineup will include the Redmi Note 17 and Note 17 Pro. Now, ahead of launch, the regular Redmi Note 17 has appeared on Geekbench, revealing the kind of firepower it is going to pack.
Redmi Note 17 Could Feature Snapdragon 6 Series Processor
Tipster Anvin took to X to share that the upcoming Redmi Note 17 has been spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking platform with the Xiaomi 2607DRA18C model number. The phone has managed to achieve 1,027 points in the single-core score, while managing to hit 3,002 points in the multi-core score.

As for the processor, the listing has revealed an octa-core chip with four cores clocked at 1.80 GHz and four cores clocked at 2.40 GHz. Based on the 4 + 4 CPU architecture split, it's likely that we're looking at the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chipset.
The test unit is rocking 12 GB of RAM and running on Android 16, likely with the HyperOS 3 skin on top. Also, do note that the Redmi Note 17 variant spotted on Geekbench is the Chinese version, and hence it might not reflect the processor choice when the smartphone makes its way to other markets like India.
Aside from that, reports also indicate that the standard Note 17 could feature a 6.83-inch 1.5K OLED display and may rock a massive 9,000mAh battery. It is also revealed to house a single 50 MP rear main camera and could come with complete water protection like IP68 + IP69 ratings.
The Redmi Note 17 series launch in China is set for July 14, 2026, at 7:00 PM CST (or 4:30 PM IST). The event will also see the debut of the Redmi Note 17 Pro, which is confirmed to bring Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection and could be powered by the Dimensity 7500 chipset.
