The Redmi Note 17 Pro Max launched globally recently as the brand's first "Pro Max" branded Note series phone. Now, the Chinese phone maker has officially confirmed that it's bringing the Pro Max to India as well.
Redmi Note 17 Pro Max India Launch Confirmed
The official Redmi India X handle has teased the launch of the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max in India. While the brand has refrained from name-dropping the smartphone, all hints point to it being the Pro Max.
A dedicated Redmi Note 17 Pro Max microsite is live on the official Xiaomi India website and it says that the brand is "pushing every boundary to bring you the most unstoppable Note yet."
At the time of writing, Xiaomi has not revealed any more details about the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max. However, thanks to the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max global launch, we know all about its specs.

One of the key USPs of the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max is its 10,000mAh battery. This is the highest among all Xiaomi phones and Redmi phones that have been launched so far.

The Redmi Note 17 Pro Max starts at 79,980 Japanese yen (approximately Rs 48,000) for the 8 GB + 256 GB model in Japan. The phone comes in three more RAM and storage options and goes all the way up to 12 GB + 256 GB.
Given that the ongoing RAM crisis is in full swing, we can expect the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max to start in India from under Rs 50,000.
