Earlier last month, Samsung opened the One UI 9 update for the Galaxy S26 series. Now it seems like the brand is set to expand the update coverage further, as the Android 17-based One UI build has been spotted for the Galaxy A57 smartphone.
One UI 9 for Galaxy A57 Spotted on Test Server
According to prominent Samsung analyst Tarun Vats on X, Samsung has started the internal testing of One UI 9 for the Galaxy A57 smartphone. It has emerged with the A576BXXU3BZF3, A576BOXM3BZF3 and A576BXXU3BZF3 build numbers, indicating that the update is being prepped for multiple regions, including India.

In terms of features, while Vats' post has not revealed any, we expect the Galaxy A57 to receive most of the new updates shipped to the Galaxy S26 series, including fixes, improvements and the latest security patch.
One UI 9 will bring a new customisable Quick Settings panel with more size options to choose from. It is also expected to bring a new Tape feature in Samsung Notes which will let users cover parts of notes with digital tape and reveal them when needed.
Apart from that, the Galaxy A57 could also gain One UI 9's vibrant and refreshed media player and a new Tap to Share feature. That said, with the test server build of One UI 9 spotted for Galaxy A57, it is only a matter of time before the new update rolls out.
So, if you own the smartphone, make sure to periodically check the Samsung Members app for the One UI 9 banner. In case you own any other Galaxy smartphone, check out our One UI 9 eligible device list to learn when your phone will receive the update.
