Samsung is hard at work on One UI 8 ahead of the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked. The firm has now released a new One UI 8 Beta update to Galaxy S25 series users in India, and it's mostly filled with fixes.
Samsung is rolling out One UI 8 Beta 2 to the Galaxy S25 series in India, with builds ending with ZYFA. The update's just over a gigabyte in size and brings the June security patch, alongside loads of bug fixes and improvements. It also appears to be rolling out in Korea, Germany, the UK, and the US as Beta 3. Here's the changelog:
- Fixed the overlap issue between the status bar of the Recents app and the running app menu in a specific status of NaviStar
- Fixed the issue that the keyboard input occur only when reboots on the Security folder PIN input screen
- Improved the issue that intermittently lengthen loading time when entering Mode/Routine menu
- Fixed text input (swipe to type) error using gesture on keyboard screen
Besides, it also fixes the persistent input error with the S Pen and adds a black screen preview to Laboratory. Samsung says it also improves the overall stability, alongside other minor improvements.

Samsung was recently spotted testing stable One UI 8 builds on Galaxy S25 Ultra, hinting the firm is now adding finishing touches to the version. While not a considerable upgrade, One UI 8 could bring new lock screen customisations and minor improvements.
The firm also pushed the first One UI 8 Watch Beta to Galaxy Watch 7 and Ultra users in the US and Korea. With the Galaxy Unpacked scheduled for July 9, 2025, One UI 8 and One UI 8 Watch are expected to debut on the Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7, and Watch 8 devices, followed by a stable release on older Galaxy flagships and smartwatches.
Following the One UI 7 debacle, Samsung appears to be zooming fast in releasing updates and making sure everything is working. The firm appears to have done it quite easily this time, which is expected considering One UI 8 is not a huge update.
