Samsung's next-gen foldables are nearing launch, with the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide and Galaxy Z Flip 8 BIS listings surfacing recently. Now, fresh leaks have given us the clearest look yet at the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8, thanks to a collaboration between MyMobiles and renowned tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer. The newly surfaced 5K CAD renders and a 360-degree video showcase Samsung's next clamshell foldable in all its glory, ahead of its expected debut later this year.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8 Design Leaked
Going by the leaked CAD renders, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8 sticks closely to the design language of its predecessor. The clamshell foldable, seen in the signature blue colour, is said to measure 166.8 x 75.4 x 6.6mm when unfolded and 85.4 x 75.4. x 13.2mm when folded. This makes it marginally slimmer than the Galaxy Z Flip 7 when closed.
For reference, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 measured 166.7 x 75.2 x 6.5mm when unfolded and 85.5 x 75.2 x 13.7mm when folded. The most notable change Samsung is said to bring is that the Galaxy Z Flip 8 is 0.5mm slimmer when folded.

The renders also showcase a dual rear camera module with an LED flash at the back, retaining the Z Flip 7's layout. Additionally, the leak reveals that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8 will retain the 6.9-inch inner screen and 4.1-inch cover screen of its predecessor. From the looks of it, the Galaxy Z Flip 8 will be an iterative update.
Apart from this, thanks to previous leaks, we know that the Galaxy Z Flip 8 performance will be driven by the Exynos 2600 chipset.
Nothing else can be said at this point, but with the BIS certification in the bag and this CAD render leak, it appears that the expected July 2026 launch is on track. Not to mention that it also arrives after the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 renders and Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide design leaked recently.
