Vivo is expected to unveil the Vivo X Fold 5 in China next week. Now, a report suggests that the Chinese company may launch the upcoming foldable in India as early as next month.
As per 91mobiles, the Vivo X Fold 5 might indeed arrive to India in the second week of July. Some specifications of the Indian variant have also leaked, suggesting no differences from the X Fold 5's Chinese variant. The exact release date is unknown, but it's expected to launch on or in between July 10 and July 15, 2025.

The news of Vivo X Fold 5 making it to India doesn't come as a surprise. The device had already been spotted on BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) last week. However, Vivo India is yet to acknowledge X Fold 5's arrival in the subcontinent.
For those unknown, the Vivo X Fold 5 could boast a 6,000 mAh battery with 80W fast charging and 40W wireless charging. Design wise, the phone is expected to be 4.3 mm thick when unfolded, and will feature a bigger 8.03-inch 120 Hz AMOLED inner display.
The phone will feature triple-cameras, with one of them being a 3x periscope lens. As for the processor, it's expected to arrive with last year's Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset alongside 16 GB RAM and 512 GB storage.
It's too soon to comment on what the phone could cost in India but judging by the price of the X Fold 3, which came at Rs 1,59,999 the X Fold 5 might arrive at a similar or might cost even less.
Vivo also recently confirmed that the X Fold 5 will come with 'Atomic Workbench', a feature that will let you run up to five apps on the screen at the same time. Besides, the phone is confirmed to come in three colours – White, Green, and Gray.
