The Vivo X Fold 6 launched in China back in June 2026, and the phone recently went global. Now, the foldable has finally arrived in India, succeeding the Vivo X Fold 5, which launched in 2025. This time, Vivo has made some significant upgrades, including a new MediaTek processor, higher-resolution ZEISS cameras, a big battery and several new software features.
Vivo X Fold 6 Specifications and Features
The Vivo X Fold 6 brings a large 8.02-inch LTPO AMOLED foldable display, made by Samsung. The panel supports a 1-120 Hz refresh rate and goes up to 5,000 nits of peak brightness.
On the outside, there's a 6.51-inch LTPO AMOLED cover display with a 1-120 Hz refresh rate and up to 5,000 nits of brightness.

The X Fold 6 is also very durable for a foldable. It has IPX8 + IPX9 water resistance, along with IP5X dust resistance. This makes it one of the few foldable phones in India that can handle dust and high-pressure water jets.
In terms of design and dimensions, the Vivo X Fold 6 is a direct competitor of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra. The phone features the same tall aspect ratio, which makes it look like a regular slab phone when closed. With the inner screen unfolded, the Vivo X Fold 6 offers the same book-style notebook design as the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra.
The Prism Black model weighs 228 grams and is 4.4 mm thick when unfolded. Meanwhile, the Nebula Teal colour option weighs 235 grams and is 4.8 mm thick when unfolded.

On the software side, the foldable runs the OriginOS 7 update based on Android 17, out of the box. Vivo is promising 5 years of software upgrades and 7 years of security updates.

Moving on, cameras are a big highlight with the Vivo X Fold 6. The phone brings a 200 MP Samsung HPB main sensor, a 50 MP Sony LYT-602 3x periscope lens and a 50 MP ultra-wide-angle camera. All three are backed by ZEISS Imaging and ZEISS T* lens coating.

As for battery and charging, the Vivo X Fold 6 packs a 6,900mAh battery with support for 80W fast wired charging.
