Vivo's marketing team barely had time to celebrate their latest teaser before the internet did what it does best. Just hours after the brand posted an official poster for its upcoming Vivo X Fold 6 foldable, a series of live hands-on images of the smartphone have surfaced online, revealing the design and a unique colourway.
Vivo X Fold 6 Leaked in Teal Blue Colourway
Right after Vivo teased the X Fold 6, tipster Digital Chat Station posted on Weibo a few live images of the smartphone. The tipster specifically mentioned that it's the Vivo X Fold 6, and the real-life photos prominently reveal the design of the smartphone from the back.

In the photos, a person seems to be holding the Teal Blue colourway of the X Fold 6, which is the same colour that dominates the poster the company shared earlier today. The images also give us a decent idea about the phone's slimness and the overall design changes.
Starting with the most prominent change, which is the overall curvature of the edges. The Vivo X Fold 6 appears to boast slightly more curved edges than its predecessor. Besides, we can also see that the circular camera module sticks out a bit more, which could be the huge Vivo X Fold 6 camera upgrade we talked about earlier.

For those unaware, the foldable phone could finally bring a 200 MP main camera alongside a 50 MP ultrawide and a 50 MP periscope lens. The module retains the Zeiss logo at the centre, and there's now a dual-flash system in place compared to a single flash on the X Fold 5.
That said, Vivo X Fold 6 rumoured specifications point to a pivot from Snapdragon to MediaTek. The smartphone could feature a Dimensity 9500 processor alongside an upgraded 7,000mAh battery capacity. The phone will stick to a 6.53-inch cover screen and an 8.02-inch 2K inner display. It will also run on OriginOS 6 features out of the box.
The display is said to use the same Ultra Thin Glass, and for protection, the smartphone could feature full water resistance with an IP58 rating. This would make the X Fold 6 the second foldable smartphone (after the Pixel 10 Pro Fold) to feature a full water and dust protection rating.
That said, while Vivo is yet to unveil an official launch date, the recent post from the Product Manager of Vivo phones confirms a June 2026 launch time. We should hear more about the smartphone's exact launch date as time progresses. Until then, stay tuned.
