The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 vs Dimensity 9500 phone battle is officially on in India, as Vivo has now officially started teasing the launch of its X300 series in the country. Vivo has posted a short teaser showcasing the upcoming flagship lineup's zoom capabilities and design.
Vivo X300 Series is "coming soon" to India
Vivo India's official X handle posted an 18-second video tagged #GoToTheWild, which hints at the telephoto prowess of the Vivo X300 and X300 Pro. In it, the camera interface zooms in and pushes up to 100x to spot a bird in a tree and concludes with a glimpse of the rear camera module with the text "Coming soon".

While the teaser doesn't reveal the exact launch timeline, many rumours speculate a late November or early December 2025 launch. More information about the exact launch date should be unveiled as we inch closer to launch, or in a week or two.
For those unaware, the Vivo X300 series launched in China just last month, with the Dimensity 9500 chipset. The standard Vivo X300 gets a 6,040mAh battery, whereas the Pro gets a 6,510mAh battery. The charging speeds on both are 90W wired and 40W wireless.

Both devices feature 1.5K 120Hz LTPO AMOLED, but perhaps the most exciting part about the launch is that the Vivo X300 series will be the first Vivo smartphones to debut with OriginOS 6 out of the box in India. Some of the OriginOS 6 features include heavily inspired liquid glass UI elements and improved Atomic Island.
Cameras are the main highlight of the X300 series, with both models featuring triple rear cameras. The standard gets a 200 MP main, 50 MP periscope and a 50 MP ultrawide, whereas the Pro gets a 200 MP periscope, 50 MP main and 50 MP ultrawide snappers.

To reiterate, we currently don't have any information about the official launch date of the Vivo X300, but we expect it to be out by the end of November 2025. Vivo is also expected to bring its Zeiss-powered Teleconverter kit to India, which users can snap at the back of the X300 series to take enhanced zoom shots.
