The Vivo X500 series is now official, and it consists of Vivo X500, X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max. The Pro models are top-tier flagships of the lineup, bringing the highest performance, cameras, bigger batteries and all-around upgrades from their predecessors.
Vivo X500 Pro and Pro Max Specifications and Features
Starting with the design, both the Vivo X500 Pro and Pro Max feature the same design with a circular camera module at the back. Unlike the X300 Pro, the X500 Pro series features a dual-tone back panel. Both the front and back are flat and minimal, with a Zeiss logo on the camera and a Vivo logo at the bottom
The Vivo X500 Pro is built around a flat 6.36-inch LTPO display which delivers a 1.5K resolution and a 144 Hz adaptive refresh rate. Just like the standard Vivo X500, the Pro and Pro Max use a BOE Q11 display which is HDR10+ and Dolby Vision certified and boasts a maximum peak brightness of 5,000 nits.
The Vivo X500 Pro Max comes with a larger 6.85-inch 2K display with a 144 Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ certification. It is also a BOE-sourced Q11 panel with the same peak brightness and certifications as the Pro. Both displays boast 2,160 Hz PWM dimming.
Performance-wise, both Vivo X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max are powered by the latest Dimensity 9600 Pro processor. It is an octa-core processor manufactured on TSMC's 2nm process, boasting a maximum clock speed of 4.55 GHz. Performance is complemented by up to 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM (16 GB on Pro Max) and 1 TB UFS 4.1 storage.
Coming to the cameras, the Vivo X500 Pro features a 50 MP LYT-L910 LOFIC main camera flanked by a 50 MP ultrawide snapper and a 64 MP LYT610 periscope telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom. A 50 MP selfie shooter handles front-facing optics.
The Vivo X500 Pro Max one-ups the X500 Pro's setup with a 50 MP LYT-L910 LOFIC main camera, a 50 MP ultrawide snapper and a 200 MP HP0 submersible telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom. The front camera is the identical 50 MP snapper. Complementing the setup are Vivo's V3+ and VS1 imaging chips.
Powering the Vivo X500 Pro is a 6,510mAh battery, whereas the X500 Pro Max boasts an 8,000mAh battery. Both are supported by 90W charging speeds and 40W wireless charging. Both phones also feature IP68/69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
The Vivo X500 Pro series features OriginOS 7 based on Android 17, bringing Liquid Glass-like aesthetics and more customisation options. Connectivity-wise, both phones get Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC and a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port for charging.

Vivo X500 Pro and Pro Max Pricing and Availability
The Vivo X500 Pro's base 12 GB + 256 GB starts at 6,499 Chinese yuan (approximately Rs 93,000), whereas the Vivo X500 Pro Max starts at 6,999 Chinese yuan (approximately Rs 1,00,000). Both share the same colours, which include White, Grey, Orange and Black.
Both Vivo X500 Pro and Pro Max are available for pre-order and can be bundled with Vivo and Zeiss' 200 mm and 400 mm G2 lenses. Vivo also unveiled a secondary screen that snaps to the back of the phone, allowing subjects to assist photographers with the shots.
Both the phones, lenses and secondary screen can be bought from the Vivo China storefront. Open sales are all set to start on September 24, 2026, but India availability is currently unknown.
