Vivo's NEXT 2026 event is set to air tomorrow, i.e., October 6, 2026, at 12 PM IST, where the brand could reveal its new smartphones and announce upcoming products. From the company's latest foldable, the Vivo X Fold 6, to its upper-mid-range and budget smartphones, here's what to expect from the event.
Vivo X Fold 6 Foldable Smartphone
Vivo's official X account recently posted a teaser video giving us a glimpse of all the devices it's unveiling on October 6, 2026. One of them is unmistakably the Vivo X Fold 6 foldable, which appears in the middle, partially open.

For those unaware, the Vivo X Fold 6 launched in China back in June 2026 with an 8.02-inch AMOLED panel, a Dimensity 9500 Super Edition processor and a 200 MP Zeiss-tuned main camera. It will be complemented by a 6,900mAh battery backed by 80W fast charging and an IP59 rating for protection against dust and water.

While the Chinese unit arrived with OriginOS 6 based on Android 16 at launch, leaks point toward the Indian variant featuring the latest OriginOS 7 features. Recent Vivo X Fold 6 India leaks suggest the phone will arrive in two storage variants – 12 GB + 256 GB and 12 GB + 512 GB – and is expected to be priced between Rs 1,29,999 and Rs 1,59,999.

Vivo V80 Camera-Centric Mid-Range Smartphone
Vivo stole the show with the V70 series last year with the standard Vivo V70 and V70 Elite. The Vivo V80 has big shoes to fill and could consist of two phones – the standard V80 and a more affordable V80 Lite. The exclusion of an Elite model this year shouldn't come as a surprise, considering the rising component and memory costs due to the ongoing RAM crisis.

The Vivo V80 is confirmed to feature a 7,200mAh battery backed by 90W fast charging. The display will be a 6.59-inch 1.5K 144 Hz OLED unit with uniform bezels. Optics-wise, it will arrive with a 50 MP Zeiss main LYT-700V sensor, a 50 MP ultrawide with a 92-degree FoV and a 50 MP telephoto IMX882 sensor with 3x optical zoom.
Powering the software experience will be OriginOS 7 with a host of AI features. Additionally, the phone will arrive with a limited-time AI Diwali Portrait feature to add warmth and a new vibe to Diwali frames.
While other specifications remain under wraps, the smartphone is expected to arrive with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor with 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of storage.

Vivo S2 FE Durability and Endurance-Focused Smartphone
The Vivo S2 was praised for providing excellent overall value, and the Vivo S2 FE aims to do the same by dialling up the endurance front while also being more affordable. Unlike the V80 and X Fold 6, information about the Vivo S2 FE is still quite scarce.

While the official Vivo S2 FE product page is live on its website, the specifications are still unknown. However, leaks suggest the phone could arrive with a Dimensity 7300e processor alongside a whopping 10,000mAh battery with 44W charging.
Additionally, the smartphone could feature dual cameras with a 50 MP main and a 2 MP depth sensor, alongside a 32 MP front snapper for selfies. There could be a 6.83-inch 1.5K 120 Hz AMOLED display on offer, alongside up to 8 GB RAM and 256 GB of internal storage.
Complementing battery endurance could be physical endurance with an MIL-STD-810H rating, combined with an IP68/69 rating for protection against dust and water. More information about the phone should be revealed soon.

Vivo MR Headset
Finally, the teaser for the Vivo Next 2026 event surprisingly also contains a mixed reality headset. This could be the Vivo Vision headset, a lightweight spatial computing wearable like the Apple Vision Pro that Vivo initially launched in China in August 2025.

The headset is powered by the Snapdragon XR2+ processor with dual 8K Micro-OLED panels. It could fit into the existing Vivo ecosystem with support for multi-window virtual desktops for enhanced productivity and eye and hand tracking. The headset relies on an external battery pack for power.
And those are all the products that could be unveiled at Vivo's NEXT event on October 6, 2026. Additionally, the brand is also expected to tease its upcoming smartphones from the Vivo X500 series and its potential launch date. For those unaware, the series consists of Vivo X500, X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max.
The event will be livestreamed on Vivo's India website and the official Vivo YouTube channel at 12:00 PM tomorrow, so stay tuned.
