Ever since the Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra launched in India earlier this year, I've had my eyes on them. If you can relate to that, well, a new deal is in town, which brings down the price of the two phones by Rs 20,000. This may be our final chance to grab the phones before the worsening RAM crisis reaches them too.
Xiaomi 17 Deal Price in India
If you visit the official Xiaomi India website, you will notice that the 12 GB RAM and 512 GB storage variant of the Xiaomi 17 is selling for Rs 89,999.
For those unaware, the 12 GB + 256 GB variant of the Xiaomi 17 launched in India at this price, while the higher variant was priced at Rs 99,999.
So, this alone makes it a solid deal worth considering. However, you can further bring the price down this way:
- Xiaomi 17 12 GB + 512 GB regular selling price in India: Rs 99,999
- Xiaomi 17 12 GB + 512 GB offer price in India: Rs 89,999
- Flat Rs 10,000 off, which is auto-applied in the cart, bringing the price down to Rs 79,999
- Instant bank discount of Rs 10,000, bringing price further down to Rs 69,999
- No Cost EMI Discount of up to Rs 4,444, bringing the final offer price down to Rs 65,554 (Rs 34,445 off, or 34% discount)
Now, why should you buy the Xiaomi 17 for that price? Well, firstly, getting the 12 GB + 512 GB variant at the price of the 12 GB + 256 GB variant in this economy is irresistible. Moreover, there are not a lot of value-for-money compact flagships left in the segment and the Xiaomi 17 is certainly one of those rare phones.
It's got a stunning 12-bit 6.3-inch OLED 2.5K LTPO OLED display with a peak brightness of up to Rs 3,500 nits. Under the hood, you get performance for ages with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage.
The Xiaomi 17 also keeps shutterbugs sorted with its 50 MP Leica Light Fusion 950 High primary main camera, 50 MP Leica 60mm floating telephoto lens and a 50 MP Leica ultra-wide camera. Even at the front, there's a 50 MP camera for selfies and video calls.
Fueling it all is a very generous 6,330mAh battery with an impressive 100W fast wired charging and 50W wireless charging support. It also runs on HyperOS 3 out of the box and is part of the HyperOS 4 eligible devices list.
There's barely any room for complaints with this flagship, making it a stellar choice. However, if you do have the budget for it, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra deal is mighty enticing as well.
