Vivo has started the OriginOS 7 beta in China, which means its Android 17 update is coming to Vivo and iQOO phones. It's expected that OriginOS 7 might bring system-wide liquid glass design with new themes and personalisation controls. On that note, here is the complete list of OriginOS 7 eligible devices, phones which are already in beta and the rollout timeline you can expect.
OriginOS 7 Eligible Devices
Before we go through the list, bear in mind that Vivo has not released an official OriginOS 7 device roster. The company has only confirmed the phones taking part in the first beta, which include Vivo X300 Pro, iQOO 15, Vivo X Fold 6 and more.
We have compiled the list based on the phones' OS update policy. So if your phone appears here, it's very likely to receive OriginOS 7, but some budget models might not make the cut until Vivo confirms it.
I have also added the newest China launches, such as the iQOO Neo 11 Ultra and Z11S. Since they ship with OriginOS 6 and are next in line for the jump to Android 17.
It's also worth knowing that Vivo runs OriginOS globally now after retiring Funtouch OS. And this update lines up with the Android 17 rollout across every major brand. If you want to see how rival brands compare, we have similar list for Samsung's One UI 9 eligible devices and Xiaomi's HyperOS 4 eligible devices.

When Will OriginOS 7 Roll Out?
Vivo has not announced the release date, but it may roll out faster than last year. For context, the OriginOS 6 global beta went live in September 2025 and the stable build arrived in the first week of November. With the China beta out now, a global beta announcement might come as soon as early September 2026 and the stable release is tipped to be around October.
As always, the update will follow a tiered approach. The current flagships will be the first to get the OriginOS 7 update, followed by last-generation flagships and phones below the flagship line. Next, the upper mid-range and budget devices will get the update.
Going by how OriginOS 6 rolled out, expect the affordable Vivo and iQOO phones to wait until the first half of 2027. And as happens every year, the global version will not be identical to the Chinese OriginOS build and there will be differences in the bundled apps and default services.
