Vivo has announced the official OriginOS 7 rollout timeline for India and the Android 17 update will start arriving on Vivo phones from the end of October 2026. The update has been in beta in China since July and you can check out everything new in our OriginOS 7 features list. On that note, here is the complete list of OriginOS 7 eligible devices, phones which are already in beta and the official rollout timeline.
OriginOS 7 Eligible Devices
Vivo has shared the official rollout timeline for India and the stable update will start reaching Vivo phones by the end of October 2026. As expected, the update will be rolled out in a tiered approach. The X300 series and X Fold 5 will be the first to get it, followed by the X200 series by mid-November. The older X flagships along with the V70 and V60 series will get it by mid-December.
After that, the V50 series will get the update by the end of December 2026. The remaining mid-range and budget phones will get it in January and February 2027. Here is the complete rollout timeline:

Vivo's flagship X series enjoys the longest update window, so they are first in line to get the OriginOS 7 update. The latest X300 series pushes things further with a promise of five major OS updates and seven years of security patches. The mid-range V series is a mixed bag as far as the OriginOS 7 update is concerned. Recent mid-range models have promised two to three major upgrades. Vivo has confirmed that the update will go all the way back to the V30 lineup, which will get it last by the end of February 2027.
The V70 and V60 series will get OriginOS 7 by mid-December 2026, while the V50 series will get it by the end of December. The V40 and V40 Pro are scheduled for the end of January 2027, followed by the V40e and V30 series in February.

Vivo's value-focused T series ships with a 2-year major update promise, so the T4 and T5 series along with the T3 Ultra will make the jump to Android 17. Most of these phones will get the update by the end of January 2027, while the T4x will get it by the end of February.

iQOO has not shared its own OriginOS 7 rollout timeline yet and we will update this article once it does. And as happens every year, the global version will not be identical to the Chinese OriginOS build and there will be differences in the bundled apps and default services.
