Google's Discover Feed is the most handy way to gain access to self-curated stories and news on Android smartphones. With a simple right swipe gesture users have the ability to read content from the web. Now, Google is looking to make this experience much more customised with an upcoming feature.
Tech publication Android Authority unearthed a new yet-to-be-announced feature of the Discover Feed. Based on the APK teardown data of the Google Beta version 16.33.64, a new "Discover feed languages" menu is going live within the Settings menu.

As evident from the above screenshot, a new Discover feed languages menu with multiple language selection options will show up. This will allow users to select their preferred languages.
At any point, users will also be able to edit their preferences by adding and/or removing a previously selected option. This new menu will likely replace the existing "Search language" menu, which only allows for the selection of a single primary language as of now.
That said, this option is not yet live for any user. The publication was able to tweak the APK's code to view and interact with this option. When live, this option will let users select a primary language and set multiple regional languages as well, like Gujarati, Hindi and so on, giving them a higher level of control over their Discover feed.
