Google's Pixel Feature Drops have always been about bringing new features to the Pixel smartphones on a regular basis. This time, the November 2025 edition of the Pixel Drop just went live and it has brought a plethora of new features.
More customisation and AI features are now live for Pixels
In a dedicated blog post, Google shared that with the November Pixel Drop, users will now be able to enjoy Remix features in Google Messages. This essentially means that photos shared via Messages will now support editing and reimaging without needing any third-party apps. From peer-to-peer chats to group messages, users can use Nano Banana to remix back and forth without ever leaving the app.

The next update has arrived in the form of AI-powered Notification Summaries. Pixels can now provide summaries of lengthy conversations as well across chat apps. It will even summarise long chat threads and provide key details at a glance in a compact format. A new organising and silencing of low-priority notification feature will also arrive with the December Pixel Drop.
Moreover, the Scam Detection feature on Pixel phones will now be able to display a "Likely scam" alert when it detects suspicious chat notifications from different apps. Google says that this new pop-up notification alone will help reduce the risk of potential scams by a huge margin. Currently, this new feature is only limited to the USA and is available for Pixel 6 and above smartphones.

Moving on, the VIP feature on Pixel phones, which prioritises message notifications from the closest friends and family, is also gaining new tools. It now supports a Crisis badge to let users know of potential threats and alerts. It will even work during official Government Alerts.
Also, with the November Pixel Drop, Google Photos can finally support personalised edits right within the app. This feature will let users remove or add particular items within a picture. By tapping the “Help me edit” button, users will now be able to remove/add sunglasses, add a smile, open eyes and more. It can even use the Face Groups within Google Photos to add, label and organise the edited images. This feature is currently limited to the USA only.

In terms of battery life, the new update now has a Power Saving Mode baked into Google Maps during driving. It will help users extract an extra 4 hours of battery life by stripping the navigation map of its usual layout and replacing it with a simplified view where only key information, like the next turn and traffic details are visible.
The new update has also added customisation options, where new ‘Wicked: For Good’ theme packs have been added with custom wallpapers, icons, system sounds and GIFs inspired by the film. With just a tap, users will be able to select from three different theme styles – For Good, Glinda and Elphaba.

Aside from these new additions, existing features are now available in more regions outside the USA. For instance, the Scam Detection feature during calls is finally coming to India. Google says that Pixel 9 and above users in India, the UK, Ireland, Australia and Canada will now be able to use AI to detect common speech patterns used by scammers and warn them.
Also, features like Call Notes are now available in regions like Australia, Canada, the UK, Ireland and Japan. Lastly, Magic Cue is now able to deliver more timely suggestions by making use of Private AI Compute for faster and accurate AI processing.
