After a multitude of teasers, the Infinix GT 50 Pro is finally official. This is the brand's newest mid-range gaming phone and comes fitted to the brim with performance-focused features like dual capacitive shoulder triggers, liquid cooling, 144 FPS gaming and a fast Dimensity processor at the helm.
Infinix GT 50 Pro Specifications and Features
Before we even move on to the specifications of the Infinix GT 50 Pro, let's talk about its design. True to its gaming identity, the smartphone draws its inspiration from "hypercar engineering" with its textured carbon fibre backplate, resembling the Kevlar coating on supercars.
Below that is what Infinix is calling the Pipeline Window Display, which gives users a glimpse of the liquid cooling pipes and the aero-fluid inside. It features a top transparent layer, which is also fitted with four crosshair LED strips. It brings 14 lighting scenarios and 8 customizable colours for both gaming and daily use.

At the front, there's a big 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144 Hz refresh rate, 2,160Hz touch sampling rate and 2,304Hz PWM Dimming frequency. The panel is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i and can reach up to 4,500 nits of peak brightness.
For performance, since Infinix is targeting gamers with the phone, it is powered by the capable Dimensity 8400 Ultimate (an overclocked version of the Dimensity 8400 chipset), paired with 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512 GB of UFS 4.0 storage.
Thermals on the Infinix GT 50 Pro also get a big boost thanks to a six-layer vapour cooling chamber with AI thermal detection. Paired with liquid cooling and Infinix’s XBoost Gaming Engine, the phone can consistently deliver 144 FPS gaming with minimal frame drops and less heating.

Also, true to its gaming nature, the GT 50 Pro offers integrated pressure-sensitive shoulder triggers in the mid-frame. triggers. On the software side, the Infinix GT 50 Pro runs XOS 16 based on Android 16 out of the box. It brings Depth Effects to the lock screen, improved cross-device sharing and new Folax AI features to the phone.
Moving on, battery is another area where the Infinix GT 50 Pro shines. It comes with a 6,500mAh battery, which is a 1,000mAh jump from the Infinix GT 30 Pro. There's also support for 45W of USB-C, 30W of wireless, 10W of reverse wired charging and bypass charging.
For cameras, the phone uses a 50 MP main camera, which is a downgrade in comparison to the 108 MP shooter of the Infinix GT 30 Pro. There's also an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle lens and at the front, a 13 MP fixed focus selfie camera.

Rest, the Infinix GT 50 Pro brings an in-display fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NFC, infrared sensor, dual SIM 5G and a USB-C 2.0 port. It also brings an IP64 rating for dust and water damage protection.
Lastly, in terms of pricing and availability, Infinix has not yet shared those details. The phone will be available in regions like Kenya, India, Malaysia and more in 12 GB + 256 GB and 12 GB + 512 GB configurations.
