It has not even been six months since the iQOO 15 launched and we are already hearing about the next-gen iQOO 16. The latest iQOO flagship debuted a lot of firsts for the brand, but it looks like the next iteration will take it up a notch with a "Pro"-grade chipset and other key hardware upgrades.
iQOO 16 Specifications Leaked
As per reliable tipster, Digital Chat Station (DCS), the upcoming iQOO 16 could spice up the flagship competition by using Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro processor. It is expected to become the world's second 2nm SoC after the Exynos 2600 chipset and is expected to even rock the revolutionary Heat Path Block (HPB) cooling tech.

If true, this will pit it squarely with the OnePlus 16, which is also getting the Pro-grade Qualcomm processor. For those unaware, Qualcomm is expected to offer the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 in two variants - a standard and a "Pro" variant.
In addition, a recent report also revealed that the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro performance boost over the 8 Elite Gen 5 will be less than 20%. However, considering the current market status due to the ongoing RAM crisis, that's still a good performance jump.
Apart from that, the leaker also claims that iQOO 16 will retain the iQOO 15's 2K Samsung M14 AMOLED display. However, the refresh rate could see an upgrade from 144 Hz to 165 Hz or even 185 Hz.
As for the rest, DCS claims that just like the iQOO 15, the 2026 flagship phone will also be filled to the brim with "top-tier performance".
That being said, with months left for iQOO 16 to go official, we urge our readers to take it with a pinch of salt since it's too early to say anything definitively.
