The Motorola Edge 70 Max India launch was teased recently and the brand has now confirmed the exact launch date of the phone.
Motorola Edge 70 Max Launching in India Next Week
The official Motorola India X account has confirmed that the Motorola Edge 70 Max will launch in India on July 15, 2026, at 12:00 PM IST. Subsequently, the dedicated Flipkart microsite of the phone now showcases its complete back design as well.

The above images showcase the phone in light blue and green colourways. We see the phone sporting a boxy design, a glass back and a squircle camera deco similar to the Motorola Signature. In addition, the Motorola Edge 70 Max features a flat display and its frame is made out of aluminium.
Motorola Edge 70 Max Specifications
Alongside the launch date and design, the brand has also confirmed the key specs of the Motorola Edge 70 Max. Just like the Motorola Signature, the Edge 70 Max will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset.
Moreover, the smartphone will feature a Quad HD+ LTPO AMOLED display with a 144 Hz refresh rate, 100% DCI-P3 colours and a whopping 7,000 nits of peak brightness. The panel will also feature Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection.
One of the biggest highlights of the phone will be its massive 7,100mAh battery capacity, with 90W fast charging support. What's more impressive is that the phone will also support 25W Qi2 magnetic wireless charging. It appears to be based on WPC's 25W Qi 2.2 standard since the first-gen Qi2 only allowed 15W wireless charging support.
Going by that, the Edge 70 Max joins a very limited list of Android phones that natively support magnetic wireless charging, without needing any case or third-party accessories to enable it. Some examples of this are the Google Pixel 10 and the HMD Skyline.
Other than that, the Flipkart microsite has confirmed 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM for the Edge 70 Max. The phone will also include a 5,500 mm² vapour chamber to manage thermals. All in all, the Motorola Edge 70 Max could become one of the most value-for-money Motorola phones if priced right.
However, with the ongoing RAM crisis, we expect the phone to be priced somewhere around the Rs 50,000 range. With the official launch set for next week, we should know for sure soon.
