Summary

  • Motorola has unveiled a new circular Moto Watch, this time in partnership with Polar, a leading fitness brand.
  • The smartwatch features a 1.47-inch AMOLED display with a 47 mm aluminium dial and a rotating crown.
  • The smartwatch starts from 99 euros (approximately Rs 10,000) and will be available in select countries soon.

Motorola is taking another swing at the circular smartwatch after launching a rectangular Moto Watch, bringing design that reminiscent of the form factor of the original Moto 360 smartwatch. Announced at CES 2026, the new Moto Watch is a successor to the previous rectangular Moto Watch and features a headline partnership with sports tech brand Polar.

Moto Watch Specifications and Features

The new Moto Watch brings a premium aluminium dial with a stainless steel crown, with the display protected by Gorilla Glass 3. Featuring an OLED display in one dial size, i.e., 47 mm, the watch supports 22 mm bands.

With Polar-powered fitness tracking and features, the watch aims to woo fitness enthusiasts who need a capable smartwatch for tracking workouts without breaking the bank. Here are all of the Motorola Watch's key specifications.

  • 1.43-inch OLED display
  • 47 mm aluminum dial with Gorilla Glass 3
  • Bluetooth 5.3
  • IP68 water and dust resistance
  • 22 mm band support
  • Polar-powered metric tracking
  • Dual-frequency GPS
  • Microphone and speaker
  • 13 days of battery life (7 days with AOD on)
  • Accelerometer, Gyroscope, PPG, Ambient Light Sensor, E-Compass
  • Compatible with Android 12 or later

The key selling point of the watch is the integration of Polar's advanced algorithms. Beyond standard tracking like heart rate, SPO2 and Sleep, the Motorola offers more insights like Night Recharge, which analyses recovery to gauge how well the user has bounced back from daily stress.

Smart Calories provides a detailed breakdown of energy expenditure and recovery during workouts. Additionally, the watch runs on a custom operating system, Moto OS, rather than Wear OS, but its extensive suite of features could rival that of existing Wear OS smartwatches.

Moto Watch Price and Sale Date

Motorola has announced that the Moto Watch will be available in select markets across Asia, Europe, Latin America and the Middle East. However, we don't know in which countries exactly and when.

Upon availability, it could be bought in three band options – Stainless Steel, Silicone and Soft-luxe, and in two chassis colours – Matte Black and Silver. The Watch will set users back 99 euros (approximately Rs 10,000) for the Silicone variant and 149 euros (approximately Rs 15,500) for the Stainless Steel variant.
