Oppo has officially released the Android 17 Beta 3 update, which is exclusively available for the flagship Oppo Find X9 Pro. As is expected of beta releases, the update comes with some known issues, warning users to be careful before updating their phone to the latest Android beta release.
Oppo Warns Users Before Updating to Android 17 Beta 3
Oppo has shared an announcement for the new Android 17 update in a community post. But instead of new features, the page lists several warnings and currently known issues with the beta update. This is similar to the Android 17 Beta 2 update for Oppo Find X9 Pro, which rolled out back in March.

The page explicitly mentions, "We do not recommend flashing this ROM if you have little to no experience in software development," warning people who might want to flash the new build just to get early access to ColorOS 17. Here is a list of known issues with the Android 17 Beta 3 for the Find X9 Pro:
The current list of known issues with this update comprises Bluetooth usage issues, Device Connect lacking a few features, lag or stuttering in some apps, display glitches, black screen, no response, third-party app compatibility issues and camera issues, to name a few.
It is also worth noting that flashing this Android 17 update will factory reset your device, which is why Oppo heavily recommends backing up your data before proceeding further.
That said, if anyone still wants to proceed with the update on their Oppo Find X9 Pro, then they can find the update package in the community post. Follow the steps in the post to install the Android 17 Beta 3 build.
Android 17 Stable Release is Coming
Google officially released Android 17 Beta 4 last month, with the stable version arriving soon. So it would be better for users to wait a few months for the stable ColorOS 17 release instead of flashing the current version.
Oppo is currently rolling out the stable ColorOS 16.1 update for its new phones, featuring a One UI-style Now Bar pill and a whole lot of new features.
