Summary

  • Oppo has officially launched a new Hasselblad Imaging Kit for the Find X9 series.
  • It will include a teleconverter lens, magnetic camera grip, magnetic protective case, magnetic ring light and more.
  • The Oppo Find X9 and the Find X9 Pro will go official in China on October 16, 2025.

We are just mere days away from the official launch announcement of the Oppo Find X9 series in China. Both phones will focus heavily on cameras while maintaining their flagship identity. Now, the brand has further heightened expectation with the launch of a dedicated Hasselblad camera kit for the smartphones.

Oppo x Hasselblad Imaging Kit confirmed for the Find X9 series

Zhou Yibao, Product Manager at Oppo, has officially revealed via Weibo the Hasselblad Imaging Kit for the Find X9 and the Find X9 Pro. Both phones will support a flurry of accessories, which will take the already capable camera hardware on the smartphones to the next level.

Starting with the Oppo Find X9 Pro, it will be available with a dedicated 3.28x teleconverter lens with multiple zoom levels, a magnetic grip holder featuring a dedicated shutter button and a zoom control rotating dial, a magnetic back cover for mounting accessories and a professional shoulder strap.

The standard Oppo Find X9 on the other hand will be able to make use of a dedicated magnetic Oppo Small Ring Light, with up to 0.5M 2,200 Lux flash brightness. It will also be able to support a colour temperature range of 3,000K to 9,000K via a 3.6W super fill light.

Apart from this, it will also support the same magnetic back cover, magnetic camera grip and the professional strap. It is interesting to note that Yibao has not mentioned the teleconverter lens for the Find X9. However, we believe that the standard model will also be able to make use of the same mounted lens facility just like what we saw with the Vivo X300 series with the Zeiss Teleconverter Kit support.

That said, this is the first time Oppo is bringing a dedicated professional camera kit for its smartphones. It was started by the Xiaomi 13 Ultra back in 2022 and has now been adopted by the likes of Vivo and Oppo as well.

Find X9 Pro will steal the show with a 200 MP periscope camera

Aside from making the Hasselblad Imaging Kit official, Yibao has also revealed that the Find X9 Pro will feature a 200 MP Hasselblad periscope telephoto camera. It will be able to support up to 4K @ 120 FPS Dolby Vision recording, and paired with the 3.28x external telephoto lens, will be able to unlock next-gen imaging capabilities.

The series will also become the first set of smartphones to arrive with the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor.  Apart from this, the Find X9 series will pack an upward of 7,000mAh batteries and will become the first ColorOS 16 smartphones.

That said, since the Oppo Find X9 series China launch is set for October 16, 2025, we will not need to wait long to see the devices in all their glory. Moreover, the Find X9 series will land in India next month. So, stay tuned for that as well.
