After making the X300 series launch date official, Vivo has now revealed that the entire lineup will support Zeiss' Teleconverter kit with a physical 2.35x telephoto lens.
The official Weibo handle of Vivo has confirmed that both the X300 and the X300 Pro will support the Zeiss-branded 2.35x telephoto Teleconverter kit, which was first introduced with the Vivo X200 Ultra earlier this year. The kit will be available in a silver and blue colour scheme and a silver and black option. Vivo claims that this will make it "both a photography tool and a fashion accessory".

Using a dedicated physical telephoto mount, the Vivo X300 series will offer a variety of shooting modes like landscape, candid shots, portraits, and professional snapshots. Additionally, the teleconverter will unlock three different focal lengths – 200mm, 400mm and 800mm.
Additionally, the 2.35x lens is also said to improve the overall stability of both still and motion shots. The Vivo X300 and the X300 Pro are already CIPA 4.5 and CIPA 5.5 rated, respectively. So, these ratings will help the phones reduce motion blur when used with the contraption.

This also indicates the fact that the 2.35x telephoto kit has been custom curated to support the Vivo X300 and the Vivo X300 Pro. Apart from this, the teleconverter mount will also now support snapshot and portrait modes, to further expand its utility.
Vivo X300 series will feature a 200 MP camera
While the support for the Zeiss Teleconverter kit in itself is a big deal, none of that would have been possible without the 200 MP camera on the X300 series. Vivo is using a custom-made Samsung HPB "Thanos" sensor as the primary camera on the X300 and as a telephoto lens on the X300 Pro.
The X300 series is also said to lead the industry with the highest pixel count. Additionally, video recording capability with the smartphones are also gaining a major boost. Vivo X300's 4K @ 60 FPS Cinematic Portrait video capability was confirmed recently, which is going to be a first in the industry.

Other than that, the smartphones could bring an 8T LTPO display alongside improved haptics. The X300 Pro will further benefit from dual-channel UFS 4.1 storage, with read and write speeds claimed to be around 70% faster than regular configurations. On the performance front, both phones will feature the newly announced MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor.

Apart from this, the series has been teased to arrive with a new camera deco style and a velvet glass finish. It will feature a sculpted camera island to create a seamless transition between the back glass and the camera island.
That said, since the Vivo X300 China launch date has been set for October 13, 2025, we will just have to wait a few more weeks before the 2025 Vivo flagships go official. So, stick around with Beebom Gadgets as we bring the latest coverage your way.
