The Oppo Reno 16 series launched in China last month with 1.5K AMOLED displays, big batteries and capable processors. Now, the brand is seemingly prepping to launch the phones in India. According to a new leak, the Oppo Reno 16 and Reno 16 Pro launch date in India is confirmed for next month.
Oppo Reno 16 Series Launch Date in India Tipped for July
As per reliable tipster Abhishek Yadav, the Oppo Reno 16 and Reno 16 Pro will launch in India on July 2, 2026. The brand is certainly fast-tracking the process, since the Oppo Reno 15 series launched in India only back in January 2026.
Oppo Reno 16 Series Specifications (Expected)
For the most part, the Indian variants of the phones will feature the same specifications. However, recently, the Oppo Reno 16 Indian variant appeared on Geekbench with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset. Going by that, it appears that the Indian variant could feature different processors from the China variants.
Going by the China variants, here's what to expect from the two phones:

Since the Oppo Reno 15 and Reno 15 Pro prices in India started at Rs 45,999 and Rs 67,999, respectively, we expect the Reno 16 series to be priced higher due to the ongoing RAM crisis. Our best guess would be that the series itself could start from Rs 50,000 this time around.
