Poco has officially launched the Poco X8 Power in India alongside the standard Poco X8 as the more powerful of the two. Where the standard X8 covers the basics well, the X8 Power pushes battery capacity, performance and cameras further.
Poco X8 Power Specifications and Features
The highlight feature of the Poco X8 Power is undoubtedly its monstrous 10,000mAh battery capacity. This cell is backed by 100W wired fast charging and 27W wired reverse charging, with Poco claiming up to 3.5 days of usage under moderate use.
The battery is also rated to retain over 80% of its capacity even after 1,600 charge cycles, translating to roughly over six years of usage before any real degradation sets in.

Due to the massive battery, the phone measures 8.65mm in thickness and weighs 229 grams.
Durability is another major area of focus, with the Poco X8 Power carrying IP66 + IP68 + IP69 + IP69K ratings. There's also Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection and SGS-certified 3-metre drop resistance.

Up front is a 6.83-inch 1.5K 12-bit AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ certification and ultra-slim bezels. The brand has also thrown TÜV Triple Eye Protection into the mix, as well as Wet Touch Display 2.0 to keep the screen operational with wet hands.

There's up to 3,500 nits of peak brightness across 25% of the panel's area, which the brand claims is an unusually large portion compared to rivals that typically limit similar peak brightness to just 1% of the display. So, this could potentially translate to noticeably better visibility in high-contrast scenes and outdoor use.
To make multimedia consumption more immersive, the phone also sports dual stereo speakers backed by Dolby Atmos.
Powering the Poco X8 Power is the Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chipset, marking its India debut and delivering an AnTuTu score of over 1 million (v11). This SoC is paired with up to 16 GB of RAM, including virtual RAM expansion.

The phone ships with HyperOS 3 based on Android 16, backed by four generations of Android upgrades and six years of security updates. It also comes with a slew of "Hyper AI" tools like the AI Writing tool and AI Interpreter.
On the camera front, the Poco X8 Power features a 50 MP OIS-equipped main camera with an f/1.5 aperture, alongside an 8 MP ultrawide lens. There's a 32 MP front camera for selfies and video calls. The OIS support on the main lens should help with stable shots in motion and low-light conditions.
Additionally, the phone gets an Underwater Photography Mode, though Poco has confirmed this feature will arrive via an OTA update rather than being available at launch.

The cameras are also backed by AI features like AI Image Enhancement and AI Image Expansion.
