Apple can't seem to catch a break lately with Google trolling the firm in its recent Pixel 10 infomercials. Well, Samsung has joined Google with its own "no shirt" campaign, mocking Apple for lacking certain AI features on iPhones.
Samsung's official X account posted a video with the text "From no shirt to new shirt with Galaxy AI". The video begins with an iPhone and the Galaxy Z Fold 7 lying on a table, with what appears to be its owners enjoying a vacation.

Upon receiving a message from his agent, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 owner quickly unfolds the device and draws a shirt over a photo to add it using the Sketch to Image feature. Meanwhile, the Apple user is stuck using a napkin and leaves to choose a shirt for his friend, targeting Apple users' unfamiliarity with foldable phones.
The advert then ends with the Z Fold 7 user asking their friend, "Can your phone do that?" while the iPhone user nudges their phone on the resting bench.

The advertisement is a direct nod to how Apple Intelligence has struggled to keep up with its Android counterparts. The video is titled "The Real Upgrade," and also dwells on how Apple lacks a foldable phone, a similar jab which Google took at Apple in the Pixel 10 Pro Fold teaser.
While Samsung has been actively mocking Apple for decades, Google is much more active these days with its BestPhonesForever campaign. In a more recent video released around iOS 26's announcement, the video took a jab at Apple for copying features that have been available on Google Pixels for years, with the iPhone calling it all a "Crazy coincidence".

Nothing appears to be going well for Apple since Apple Intelligence's announcement. Recent reports suggest Apple could partner with Google for a Gemini-powered Siri. It comes after Elon Musk sued Apple and OpenAI for "hurting the AI competition". Stay tuned as we will be covering all the major developments in the AI space.
