Summary

  • Android 16-based One UI 8 will allegedly begin rollout from September 18, 2025, starting with the Galaxy S25 series.
  • The update will then expand to Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Tab S10 series and more.
  • One UI 8 Watch rollout will reportedly begin from October 1, 2025, starting with the Galaxy Watch 7.

Samsung’s latest One UI 8 software is so far exclusive to the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Z Flip 7 and the Galaxy S25 FE. But a new leak has revealed the full rollout timeline for other Galaxy devices.

X user Alfatürk has posted several images on X containing the complete One UI 8 rollout schedule for eligible Samsung Galaxy devices. These have not been officially confirmed by the brand. However, looks like the user has taken the said information from the Turkish website Guncel Miyiz.

As it is evident, the Galaxy S25 series is the first in line to receive the latest One UI 8 update on September 18, 2025. It will include the Samsung Galaxy S25, Samsung Galaxy S25+, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra and the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge.

The update will then move on to the Galaxy S24 series along with the Samsung Galaxy A56 5G and the Galaxy A36 5G on September 25, 2025.

Apart from this, starting October 1, 2025, the Galaxy Tab S10 lineup, along with the older Samsung Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy S21 series, Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Z Flip 4 and more, will receive the update.

Even One UI 8 for Watch will also begin to roll out from October 1, 2025 starting with the Galaxy Watch 7. It will then hit other One UI 8 eligible devices like the Galaxy Watch 6 series, the Galaxy Watch FE and more. Currently, the update is only live on the Galaxy Watch 8 series and the Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025).

Speaking of the update, the latest One UI 8 update is not a big overhaul over the One UI 7 update. However, it does still bring several new features like a refreshed design, deeper integration of the soon-to-be-paywalled Galaxy AI, improved cross-device experiences and easier setup options. Samsung says the update is aimed at making devices smarter, more connected and more personalised across the ecosystem.

That said, users in Asia should be the first to experience this alleged rollout schedule for One UI 8. We will be sure to confirm the same from our end when the first update will hit the Galaxy S25 series devices later this month.
