The Vivo T5 Pro launched in India a few months back and now the brand is all set to introduce a more toned-down budget smartphone called the Vivo T5 Lite 5G. The official Flipkart microsite for the smartphone is now live, revealing its battery and charging details.
Vivo T5 Lite 5G Teased to Launch in India Soon
The Vivo T5 Lite 5G is being promoted with the brand's "Get. Set. Turbo." tagline and has been confirmed to feature an impressive 6,500mAh battery. This is a clear upgrade over the 6,000mAh capacity of the Vivo T4 Lite 5G.
In addition, the phone is confirmed to arrive with 44W fast charging. In fact, the brand has also added the 44W to the phone's name, suggesting there could be another variant of the phone in the future which offers slower or faster charging speeds. Now, this is also an upgrade over the T4 Lite's 15W charging.
Moreover, we also get a glimpse at the smartphone's design and it appears to house dual cameras in a pill-shaped module at the back. The volume and power buttons are on the right side, and one of the stereo speakers is at the top.
From the looks of it, the Vivo T5 Lite 5G appears to be a rebadged iQOO Z11 Lite, which was also teased to launch in India very recently. That's not surprising since the brands have a history of launching Vivo phones as rebranded iQOO phones and vice versa.
For context, the iQOO Z10 Lite and Vivo T4 Lite are practically the same phones with different brand names and colour options. Hence, it's no surprise that the brand is following the same launch formula with the upcoming phones.
This could also mean that the Vivo T5 Lite will be powered by the Dimensity 6300 chipset, since it is what the iQOO Z11 Lite is tipped to offer. It appears that the phone could be priced under Rs 20,000.
However, we will have to wait for official details to drop in order to know more. Since official teasers have begun, we should hear more about them shortly. So, stay tuned.
