Vivo is gearing up to finally launch its first T5 series smartphone in India, starting with the budget Vivo T5x 5G. The brand just started teasing the Vivo T5x 5G India launch and now, it has revealed when exactly the phone will go official in the country.
Vivo T5x 5G is arriving in India next week
As per the official Vivo India X handle, the Vivo T5x 5G will be unveiled on March 17, 2026, at 12:00 PM IST. It will be officially sold in the country via Flipkart and will go live in White and Green colour options.
Vivo claims that the T5x 5G is going to become the "fastest smartphone" in its price segment. The claim has been made based on the 8 GB + 256 GB model of the phone, which will cost below Rs 23,000. So, it could start from well under Rs 20,000 for the base RAM and storage configuration.
As for the phone's specifications, while Vivo has not revealed anything, a recent Vivo T5x 5G specs leak post from tipster Yogesh Brar has spilt some of the tea. He claims the Vivo T5x 5G will feature a 7,200mAh battery along with 44W fast USB-C charging support.
The Vivo T5x 5G will reportedly draw its power from the Dimensity 7400 Turbo processor (an overclocked version of the Dimensity 7400 chipset) and run OriginOS 6 update based on Android 16 out of the box.
Aside from that, it is expected to sport a 50 MP Sony IMX852 camera with 4K video recording support, dual IP68 +IP69 rating and an AI productivity suite. That said, we expect the Vivo T5x 5G to launch as a rebranded iQOO Z11x 5G. However, we will know for sure once both phones go official in the following weeks.
