Vivo's next-generation X500 lineup will reportedly arrive with as many as five phones, and the Pro model could get the compact treatment of the regular variant. Now, a new leak suggests that Vivo could be taking the compact formula even more seriously with the Vivo X500 Pro, packing it with a massive battery and flagship cameras.
Vivo X500 Pro Key Specifications Tipped
Reliable tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) took to Weibo to share that the upcoming Vivo X500 Pro could sport a battery capacity of between 6,500mAh and 6,600mAh. However, the brand is reportedly making an "effort to approach" 7,000mAh capacity. If true, this will be quite a step up over the 6,510mAh unit on the Vivo X300 Pro.
Moreover, the latest leak claims that the Vivo X500 Pro will be a "small-scale flagship", with previous leaks suggesting it could scale down to a 6.37-inch display. If true, this will be significantly smaller than the X300 Pro's 6.78-inch display and, in turn, there will be limited space for all the components inside. So, it will be difficult to pack in too big a battery, especially since the phone is also said to bring improved camera hardware.
As per the leak, the upcoming flagship could feature a 64 MP 85 mm periscope telephoto lens and a large LOFIC main camera. This is a downgrade from the Vivo X500 Pro Max cameras, which could include a 200 MP LOFIC periscope telephoto lens. However, it could borrow the Pro Max's 50 MP 1/1.28-inch main camera with LOFIC imaging capabilities. So, the Pro could certainly tick all the boxes here and arrive as a phenomenal flagship to consider during the ongoing RAM crisis.
Moreover, the latest leak claims that the phone is going to reportedly feature a "2nm Dimensity processor", which the tipster believes is likely the Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset.
As for the rest of the Vivo X500 Pro specifications, previous leaks suggest that the phone could feature a 1.5K LTPO OLED display with a 144 Hz refresh rate. It is also believed to be one of the first Vivo phones to ship with OriginOS 7 based on Android 17.
That said, Vivo is expected to launch the Vivo X500 Pro alongside the regular Vivo X500 and a new Vivo X500 Pro Max in September 2026. So, with the expected launch timeline still a few months away, more details about the Vivo X500 series are expected to surface soon.
