Vivo appears to be all set to launch the Vivo X500 Pro Max smartphone in China. Just a month after its global variant was spotted on Indonesia's TKDN regulatory database, the Chinese variant has now cleared the 3C certification, revealing one of its key specifications.
Vivo X500 Pro Max Spotted on 3C Certification
Spotted first by Gizmochina, the Vivo X500 Pro Max has appeared on the 3C certification website bearing the model number V2602DA. For those unaware, the global variant flaunted the model number V2610.

Besides the SKUs, the listing also confirms several key specifications of the Chinese model. For starters, the phone will boast support for 90W fast charging at 11V/8.2A. It will also boast the n79 5G band alongside BeiDou satellite communication.
Interestingly, the 3C authority also certified two additional devices with model numbers V2606A and V2609A alongside it. These are suspected to be the upcoming iQOO 16 and the standard Vivo X500 Pro. While the listing doesn't disclose other key specifications, recent Vivo X500 Pro Max leaks have revealed almost every aspect of the upcoming smartphone.
For starters, the Vivo X500 Pro Max could feature a 6.85-inch 2K 144 Hz LTPO OLED display and is expected to be powered by the Dimensity 9600 processor. Fuelling the internals could be an 8,000mAh battery with 90W wired fast charging combined with 50W wireless charging.

Optics-wise, the smartphone is expected to arrive with a 50 MP main Sony LYT-838 1/1.28-inch snapper with LOFIC technology. The secondary snapper could be a 50 MP ultrawide lens, while the zoom capabilities may be handled by a 200 MP periscope telephoto shooter. A 50 MP selfie camera could accompany on the front.
To round off the experience, the X500 Pro Max is expected to run on OriginOS 7, based on Android 17, out of the box, and to feature an IP69/69 rating for protection against dust and water. An in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner could handle security.
With the expected September 2026 release timeline closing in, more information about the Vivo X500 Pro Max should surface soon. While the exact launch date is unknown, Vivo should start teasing the X500 series very soon, so stay tuned.
