Summary

  • Google Pixel Warranty check can be performed using the IMEI or Serial number of your Pixel smartphone.
  • Google provides a dedicated Repair and Warranty webpage where you can instantly verify your hardware coverage.
  • You can also check your Pixel phone warranty by going to the My Devices page on the Google Store.

If you're facing issues with your Google Pixel smartphone, performing a Google Pixel warranty check is the very first thing you should do. Verifying whether your smartphone is covered under the standard limited warranty ensures that you don't pay anything out of your own pocket if it's a hardware-related issue or to get the phone inspected at the service centre. Here's how to check the Google Pixel warranty.

Check Google Pixel Warranty from Settings

Following the launch of Android 16, Google populated the Settings app with a new 'Device health & support' menu, where users can check everything from the battery health to the temperature and warranty info of Google phones. To access this menu:

  1. Open the Settings app on your Google Pixel phone and go to Device health & support > Warranty.

  1. On the warranty screen, you will see a green tick if the warranty is active alongside the Coverage until date, which indicates when the warranty expires.
  2. The screen also hosts the purchase date, IMEI and device name, alongside direct links to the repair centre and support.

Check Pixel Warranty Using Google Repair Portal

Before we get started, the process of checking the warranty involves checking the serial number on Pixel phones. TL;DR, it can be found in Settings or by using the Google Pixel secret code *#06# in the phone app. Once you have the serial number or IMEI, here's how to check the warranty of a Google Pixel smartphone.

  1. Open a web browser on your phone or computer and head over to the official Google Repair Portal.
  1. Sign in to your Google account, and if you have your Google account signed in on the Pixel, it should appear.
  2. If you're checking for a different phone, enter the IMEI or Serial Number in the text box and click on the right arrow icon.

Check Google Pixel Phone Warranty Using My Devices Page

If the Pixel smartphone is registered to your Google account, you can also easily find out the remaining warranty from the Google Store's My Devices page. Here's how:

  1. Head over to the Google Store My Devices page inside a web browser on your phone or PC.
  2. Sign in to your Google account if you haven't already, and you should see your Google Pixel smartphone listed below.

  1. You should see the Warranty ends date alongside the IMEI number, right below the model number.
  2. If your Pixel is in warranty, you can start a repair from the page itself by going to View more > Start a repair.

And those are all the ways you can check the warranty of Google Pixel phones. These are pretty straightforward and should help you determine the remaining coverage available for your smartphone. This should help you claim the warranty or register for repairs if there's anything wrong with the phone.
