In a move that seems part marketing stunt, part accidental leak, dbrand has unveiled its Tank Case for the iPhone 17 lineup. This offers one of the clearest looks at the iPhone 17 Pro's rumoured new redesign.
The ultra-rugged case is currently listed on the official dbrand website with the option to notify users when it's available for purchase. One of the most striking elements shown in the Tank Case render is a redesigned camera arrangement.
Going by the case design, we can see the iPhone 17 Pro triple rear cameras now sit on a dedicated raised camera bar that stretches edge to edge.

According to leaks and rumours, the setup will include a 48 MP primary lens, a 48 MP ultrawide, as well as a 48 MP periscope telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom. The LED flash and LiDAR sensor are positioned on the opposite edge, away from the lenses.
The cutouts also point to the continued presence of the Action button alongside the Camera Control button, volume rockers and power key.
This layout closely matches the design of an iPhone 17 Pro dummy that surfaced online a while ago. Looks like dbrand has access to accurate design schematics of the upcoming iPhone 17 series. It's not surprising and actually a common practice among case manufacturers to reveal a new iPhone's design this way.
Apple is expected to announce the iPhone 17 series on September 9, 2025. If dbrand's case tease is anything to go by, the iPhone 17 series will feature its boldest design tweak in years.
