Google is bringing new improvements to the Chrome web browser on Android and iOS by introducing new advanced autofill features. It also brings deeper integration with Google Wallet and now allows users to fill in more complex and personal details for ease of access and usage.
Chrome on Android and iOS Gets Advanced Autofill Features
According to a Google blog post, Chrome's built-in autofill feature on Android and Apple iPhones can now save and automatically fill in more complex information. This includes details such as flight information, vehicle details, licence plate numbers and Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs).
For those unaware, Chrome Autofill has long allowed users to securely save passwords, addresses and other personal information, so they don't have to enter the same details repeatedly. With this update, Google is expanding the feature to support a wider range of information.

The biggest addition is the feature's deeper integration with other apps like Google Wallet. Chrome can now access information stored in Google Wallet and use it to autofill forms across websites on mobile and desktop. This includes identification documents, transit passes, concert tickets, driver's licence details, passport information, Known Traveller Numbers (KTNs) and payment information.
Additionally, Chrome is making it easier to save new information. When users manually enter supported details for the first time, Chrome will suggest saving them to Google Wallet so they can be autofilled in the future.
Most importantly, Google says that the stored data is encrypted and only accessed during autofill usage. Users can even choose to edit, update or delete their saved information as per their convenience.
Google is now gradually rolling out the new Autofill features to Chrome users on Android and iPhone worldwide.
